Maharashtra puts FDA action against loose edible oil sales on hold for 1 year
Maharashtra's chief minister has deferred enforcement action on loose edible oil sales for one year. Traders must comply with the law after this mandatory transition period ends. Joint committees will guide traditional traders in making necessary business practice changes. The government will assist businesses with facilities and potential subsidies for compliance.
