The drama did not end with the win with Korea's fate hanging on the result of the other Group H match between Ghana and Uruguay. After a long wait of eight minutes or so, Korea celebrated again as they sealed the last 16 spot with Portugal, who topped the group despite the loss.

No plan to open hijab-friendly colleges: Karnataka CM
Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai dismissed on Thursday reports that the state government has given consent to the Karnataka State Board of Auqaf to open 10 hijab-friendly schools and colleges for Muslim students in the state. "This matter has not been discussed in our government, and it is not the stand of our government," Bommai said.
